Those who have not paid at time of registration acknowledge that they will be removed from the course roster in favor of a paying customer. This alleviates unclaimed seats on the day of. - Prompt payment is recommend to confirm your seat.

Participant Cancellation / No-Show:
Course fees are non-refundable. Failure to show for a scheduled course will result in loss of course fees. Participants may transfer to a future course, however a $25.00 change fee will apply.
In the event of adverse weather, our decision to close follows that of Nova Scotia Community College. Should Halifax-area NSCC campuses close (Akerley / Waterfront), we will follow suit.

In the event of a closure, participants will be contacted by email. In the event of a full course cancellation, refunds will be issued or participants rescheduled at no charge. In the event of a partial cancellation or delayed opening, participants may elect to be rescheduled at no charge.
To qualify for re-certification, participants must hold current /non-expired certification (< 3 years to the day). Upon expiry, full-length training becomes compulsory. At time of registration, participants will be prompted to show proof of non-expired certification. Re-certification cards will be withheld pending the appropriate prerequisite being shown.
