ADAPTED FIRST AID & CPR PROGRAMMING AMID COVID-19


 

Registration Instructions:

  1. Scroll down to select your training course;

    1. Add to cart / complete online registration;

      1. Complete the Canadian Red Cross online module, which will be sent to your inbox. The module is self-paced, with no completion deadline;

        1. On completion, receive 60-day Canadian Red Cross certification card (can be extended should the pandemic dictate prolonged social distancing)

          1. Once gatherings are permitted anew, you will be provided with scheduling options to join us for a (comparatively short) skills session, at which time a traditional 3-year certification card will be awarded.

Recertification Programs

Our recertification programs are condensed versions of their full-length counterparts. To qualify, you must hold current (non-expired) certification at the level being sought. Once expired, you must attend a full-length program. Certification expires 3 years from course date.


Emergency First Aid
& CPR / AED Recertification

*Includes CPR Level “C” for General Public
*Satisfies Nova Scotia First Aid Regulations for workplaces with 1-19 employees per shift
*Minimum level of training required by the Nova Scotia Daycare Act




Standard First Aid
& CPR / AED Recertification

*Includes CPR Level “C” for General Public
*Satisfies Nova Scotia First Aid Regulations for workplaces with 20-99 employees per shift



CPR Level C / AED Recertification

*Includes CPR Level “C” for General Public
*Does NOT include First AidÂ
